Italian Wine Scholar Unit 1 : Vancouver Spring 2024

  • Vij's 3106 Cambie Street Vancouver, BC, V5Z 2W2 Canada (map)

Italian Wine Scholar Unit 1

The Italian Wine Scholar is offered in conjunction with the Wine Scholar Guild and due to the depth and complexity of Italian wines, the program has been split into two courses: Unit 1 and Unit 2. This course is only Unit 1, which covers Northern Italy. Unit 2 covers Central and Southern Italy and will be offered in the future.

This is an advanced program of study on a par with the detail required for the WSET Diploma for Italy and beyond what is covered in WSET level 3. The examination for each Unit will be a 100 question MC test with a 75 mark passing score. Candidates must pass both Unit 1 and Unit 2 in order to earn the title Italian Wine Scholar.

We are adopting a hybrid model, with theory sessions being held on Zoom and in-person tastings and exams.
